Job Overview:

Deaconess Clinic-Heart and Vascular-Jasper is currently seeking an RN to work their phone triage line. Heartland triage nurses utilize critical thinking and autonomy to perform day to day tasks. Heart and Vascular-Jasper has outreach offices at Washington, Country Health Center, Petersburg, French Lick, and Santa Claus, triage lines support calls from all of these locations. This position provides coverage for Heart and Vascular Jasper's clinical triage line which performs tasks as follows, but limited to:

-Answering incoming calls from patients

-Completes tasks within the in basket such as results and refills

-Patient education on all cardiac procedures

-Triaging walk in visits

-Assisting with peer to peers

Required Certifications/Licenses/Experience:

-Active Registered Nurse (RN) in Indiana or other compact licensure state

Preferred Certifications/Licenses/Experience:

-2 years medical/ICU or cardiology experience
