Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze production issues; determine root cause and implement corrective actions
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase production yield
• Provide technical support to production and other departments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process changes and resolve production issues
• Develop and maintain production metrics and reports
• Track yield performance and improvement opportunities
• Stay current with industry trends and new technologies related to production yield improvement

Qualifications – Required

• US citizenship
• Experience with data analysis and statistical process control
• Experience in yield analysis and improvement for semiconductor production
• Experience with equipment automation and control systems

Qualifications – Preferred

• B.S. or M.S. degree in material science, chemical engineering, or related science/engineering discipline
• 3+ years of experience in a production yield or process improvement role
• Certification in Six Sigma, Lean, or related process improvement methodology

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Ability and willingness to adapt with changing semiconductor technologies
• Strong project management skills
• Strong technical background
• Knowledge of semiconductor processing and equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Physical requirements

Must be able to:

• Stand for long periods of time
• Lift up to 35 lbs.
• Walk long distances
• Wear cleanroom attire, including protective eye gear and face mask
