Paragon Force, Inc. has an opportunity for a full-time motivated and self-driven Security Systems Technician.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • In this role, you must be able to travel approximately 50% of the year to various locations within the U.S.
  • Provide support requirements for facilities installations, modifications, testing, yearly maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repair of security systems, surveillance systems, and various security related sensors and devices.
  • Provide life cycle support, maintenance, installation, upgrades, and certifications of electronic and physical security systems to include but not limited to Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Access Control Systems (ACS) and barrier systems.
  • Provide maintenance support on electronic security systems at Naval Information Force Reserves (NIFR) and the design, installation and testing of electronic security systems for emerging facility system upgrades, expansions and renovations, including administrative and support services.
  • Provide technical support for the research, design, development, installation and related services for physical and electronic security systems and components.
  • Provide bi-annual alarm testing, maintenance, upgrades, and space acceptance and removals for Department of Defense.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of related technical experience
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to follow complex directions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent use of hand tools and ladders.
