Precise Systems is seeking a Threat Device Support Lead and Test Director (Electronics Engineer) to join our team at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Crane, IN. The Electrical Engineer will provide technical, engineering and Threat Device support services for Test Infrastructure Group.
Responsibilities:
• Interface with necessary activities to acquiring CIED threat devices.
• Prototype, fabrication support
• Drawings and SOP upkeep.
• Configuration Management of devices
• V&V of devices
• Check devices out to customers
• Check devices in from customers
• Maintain Threat Device Database
• Provide TDS group leadership; manage TDS schedule and prioritize technician’s tasking.
• Interface with Government Test Leads to ensure devices are instrumented for test for MARPS or LGTF and provided on time for events.
• Lead/support efforts for upkeep and maintenance for the equipment, shelters, trailers, tools for TIG at LGTF.
• Perform Test Director duties, participate in test event setup, tear down and execution.
• Lead efforts for test devices used during events, data gathered, etc.
• Ensure necessary equipment and devices are moved from Crane to LGTF
Desired Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Engineering
• RF Range testing experience is a plus.
• Experience with Test Engineering execution
• Ability to coordinate activities of a diverse team, predict and meet schedules, resolve disconnects
• Excellent communication skills are essential, including the ability to understand the customer’s needs and provide clear communication of proposed solutions to the customer.
• Ability to travel
• RF Testing experience
• Leadership skills
• Capable of interfacing with Customers in coordination and execution of Engineering and Formal Threat Load testing for CIED testing.
Desired Education:
• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
