SAIC is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer to support PRIDE Mod/NASIS applications. This role is 100% remote.

The Senior Software Test Engineer will:

• Provide testing support as a Test lead of an integrated agile project development and testing team
• The Senior Software Tester will be working with other developers and testers to plan, lead and test the custom developed software as required
• Analyze requirements and design documents to determine test strategy and estimated level of effort
• Identifying areas where improvements can be made and offering plans to execute those improvements
• Experience in Automation testing - Selenium
• Create detailed step by step manual test cases
• Execute manual test cases that ensure system software performs according to documented business requirements, business rules, and technical specifications etc.
• Document actual results during execution
• Identify software defects and create test reports

Qualifications

Required Education/Experience/Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience in Agile software environments, manual/automation test support
• This position requires a self-motivated, professional individual with demonstrated experience in leading and testing applications, including:
• Hands-on, proven experience creating test cases
• Hands-on, proven experience in Automation testing
• Ability to understand and analyze complex business requirements
• Ability to convert business requirements into test cases
• Knowledge of Structured Query Language
• Demonstrated knowledge in working on an IT team implementing major software releases using SCRUM Agile methodology
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent written, communication, presentation, and technical skills
• Experience working with AzureDevOps

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of DoD IT systems/processes

Clearance:

• U.S. citizen. None to start, ability to obtain Secret clearance

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
