Description
- Design and Development: Design, develop, and test RF systems and components that are integral to aircraft and naval ship countermeasures.
- Integration and Testing: Lead the integration and testing of RF countermeasure systems on various platforms, ensuring their performance meets or exceeds requirements.
- Analysis and Simulation: Conduct RF system analysis and simulations to predict performance and identify potential improvements.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare comprehensive technical documentation including specifications, design documents, test plans, and reports.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems engineers, software engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration and functionality of RF systems.
- Research and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in RF technologies and apply innovative approaches to enhance countermeasure capabilities.
- Field Support: Provide field support for RF systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues during deployment and operation.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field. Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in RF engineering, with a significant focus on aircraft and/or naval ship countermeasures.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in RF design tools and simulation software (e.g., ADS, CST, HFSS).
- Strong understanding of RF theory, electromagnetic wave propagation, and antenna design.
- Experience with radar, electronic warfare (EW), and signal processing techniques.
- Security Clearance: Must possess or be able to obtain a relevant security clearance.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with defense industry standards and regulations.
- Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and real-time simulation environments.
- Proven track record of successful project execution in a defense-related setting.
- Active security clearance.
