SAIC is seeking En Route Automation Modernization (ERAM) Adaptation Specialists to support our Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) customer. The successful candidate will support the Flight Data Input/Output (FDIO) Second Level Engineering organization in planning, coordinating and deploying ERAM adaptation changes to support Terminal Flight Data Manager (TFDM) installations at various sites throughout the US.

Responsibilities include:

  • Determining ERAM FDIO changes required for each TFDM site installation.
  • Coordinating with site personnel and program stakeholders.
  • Developing adaptation change presentations.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field; an additional 5 years of related experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
  • Understanding of the FAA’s automation and traffic management systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of adapting FDIO devices and text decks.
  • Knowledge of FDIO facility routing.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills using both technical and user-friendly language.
  • Skilled in using MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to satisfy FAA resume and security approval requirements, Citizenship required.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
