  • Build responsive, intuitive user interfaces that make complex data accessible to non-technical users.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure scalability to handle large datasets and concurrent users
  • Implement security best practices including authentication, authorization, and data protection in cloud environments.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following software development best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines.
  • Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing maintenance and enhancements.
  • Make data accessible for evaluation and optimization.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, business operations, and product engineering teams.
  • Coordinate activities with other technical personnel as appropriate.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Master's degree in computer science, systems engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • 10 years of experience as a Data Scientist/Engineer/Administrator or similar role.

Preferred:

  • Experience building interactive analytics applications using Shiny for Python.
  • Experience with Streamlit or similar tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with Databricks.
  • Experience with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services (App Service, Functions, Storage, SQL Database, Key Vault).
  • Familiarity with Databricks and experience working with Spark DataFrames and Delta Lake.
  • Knowledge of data visualization libraries such as matplotlib, seaborn, Plotly, Dash, or D3.js.
  • Experience with RESTful API design and development.

  • Experience with data manipulation libraries including Pandas, NumPy, and data analysis workflows.
  • Understanding of software testing principles and frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction providing technical and non-technical support to multiple users.
  • Capable of working under pressure, while handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
