In this high-impact position, you will drive strategies that secure new and recompete contracts delivering cutting-edge capabilities to warfighters and advancing national security. As a central figure in SAIC's business pursuits, you’ll shape and execute winning capture strategies across the pre-award lifecycle, enabling solutions that meet mission critical challenges for Army and Navy clients.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, senior leaders, and external stakeholders, you will spearhead complex, enterprise-scale programs to elevate our Army and Navy Business Group's success. Beyond capture, you’ll forge partnerships, ensure alignment with customer visions, and champion innovative acquisition approaches that deliver results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage capture efforts for across Army and Navy markets, including C5ISR, Aviation, Missiles & Fires, Surface and Subsurface Systems, NIWC LANT, INDOPACOM, SOUTHCOM, and CENTCOM.
  • Lead captures exceeding $300M, including tailored win strategies for FFP and fixed-unit-price contracts with a focus on risk assessment, pricing sensitivity, and delivery assurance.
  • Build and inspire high-performing capture teams, overseeing solution development, competitive analysis, customer engagement, and proposal strategy.
  • Serve as a mentor, elevating capture excellence across the organization through sharing best practices and innovative techniques.
  • Strategically engage senior government stakeholders and teaming partners to shape opportunities and influence acquisition methodologies.
  • Develop and manage capture budgets, ensuring responsible investment allocation and measurable ROI for all pursuits.
  • Convert complex mission requirements into executable plans aligned with evolving customer objectives and acquisition trends.
  • Collaborate with business development, pricing, contracts, delivery, and proposal teams to align efforts for successful submissions.

Qualifications



Required Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of capture management experience, with a demonstrated record of three (3) $300M+ wins in Navy and Army markets.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of FAR/DFARS, government acquisition practices, and competitive proposal development processes.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage growth budgets and track ROI.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience influencing customers’ acquisition strategies and driving alternative acquisition methods (e.g., OTAs, CSOs, other accelerated acquisition paths).
  • Knowledge of familiarity with IAC MACs & GSA AAS
  • Expertise in cloud migration, cybersecurity, network modernization, digital engineering, modeling & simulation, or enterprise service management.
  • Familiarity with classified submissions and secure proposal development workflows.

Target salary range: $200,001 - $240,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
