The ideal candidate will have a robust track record of leading and winning single-award pursuits valued at $750M+ annually and driving strategic pipelines that culminate in submitted opportunities exceeding $1.5B in value each year. This leadership position requires extensive expertise across diverse acquisition strategies, including Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)-based procurements, Assisted Acquisitions, Other Transaction Authority (OTA), and innovative commercial acquisition models. The Vice President of Capture Management will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing winning strategies for SAIC’s most strategic opportunities, driving long-term growth and market leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Capture Vision and Execution: Spearhead the full lifecycle of capture for high-profile and complex enterprise-scale opportunities in alignment with SAIC’s growth strategy, delivering measurable growth outcomes.
Strategic Market Differentiation: Develop comprehensive and innovative capture strategies that position SAIC as the partner of choice in competitive landscapes, leveraging differentiated offerings to meet evolving customer missions.
Executive-Level Collaboration: Direct cross-functional teams of senior stakeholders, including proposal managers, solution architects, pricing strategists, and subject matter experts (SMEs), ensuring a unified approach to achieving strategic goals.
Customer-Centric Engagement: Cultivate and maintain influential relationships with government leaders and industry partners at the executive level to shape requirements, anticipate procurement trends, and align SAIC’s offerings with mission-critical needs.
In-Depth Competitive Positioning: Leverage detailed market intelligence and competitor analysis to identify SAIC’s unique value propositions and position the company for sustained competitive advantage in key pursuits.
Operational Excellence in Capture: Design and implement enterprise-level win strategies and capture management plans utilizing SAIC's methodologies, tools, and lessons learned from past successes to maximize win probability.
This leadership role offers the opportunity to shape SAIC’s position as a market leader through innovative strategies, collaborative leadership, and game-changing wins in the competitive government contracting industry. Ideal candidates will possess an entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to inspire teams and capture the confidence of government stakeholders to propel SAIC’s long-term success.
