Job purpose

• Obtain validated supplier pricing information to provide domestic timely Traded Product quotations for our Business Development Group.

Duties and responsibilities

• Reviews TASUS customer RFQs to understand materials, components, and other outsourced needs that must be sourced
• Learns and assists in quote development in providing final quote information for pre-review before release to a customer
• Review and negotiate vendor quote terms for best overall offer
• Determine total landed cost of product for proper cost estimating. Includes estimating inbound freight, duties, and other costs incurred to physically receive the product
• Determines and assigns HTS codes used for imported products to determine applicable duty rates?
• Supports program launch activities by coordinating with the supplier to fulfill the plant and customer requirements?
• Identifies potential new suppliers to fill outsourced needs for traded products
• aids in defining key suppliers, builds solid business relationships, develops partnerships through strong communications. including in person visits, email and verbal

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, supply chain management or operation.
• Automotive manufacturing experience
• Strong understanding of global logistics and import/export compliance
• Organized and detail oriented
• Strong Excel skills

Working conditions

• Office and Manufacturing environment, domestic travel

Physical requirements

• Standing and sitting for extended periods of time, occasional lifting, pulling and pushing.
