Description
TRISTAR is seeking varies Systems Administrator I, II, III & IV for our upcoming government customer in Bloomington, IN
- The Systems Administrator administers and supports daily operational requirements of computer network systems including workstation, file servers, and web servers
- Duties typically involve the installation of hardware, software, systems upgrades, network accounts, network security, and web page design, interface and updates, and local system design documentation
- This administrator will maintain, troubleshoot, and implement network security tools including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection services
- This Administrator trains staff on software applicable to their position, assists customers with information technology, monitors system configuration (hardware and software), and provides instruction on computers and applications
Requirements
- Level I requires 0-2 years professional experience in systems administration
- Level II requires 3 years professional experience in systems administration
- Level III requires 7 years professional experience in systems administration
- Level IV requires 10 years professional experience in systems administration
- MUST be a US Citizen
- Must possess active DoD Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one
Education and/or Certification
- Levels I & II require minimum Associate Degree. Prefer Bachelor's level degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems
- Levels III & IV require minimum Bachelor Degree. Prefer Master’s level degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems
- Must have or be able to obtain a Comptia Security Plus certification prior to starting
