Description
TRISTAR is seeking a General Maintenance Technician (SCA) for our government customer in Crane, IN
Requirements
The General Maintenance Technician requires practical skill and knowledge in facility maintenance such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work
• Work involves a variety of duties to include but not limited to: replacing light bulbs, electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors, using plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings, repairing or replacing sinks, water coolers, and toilets, painting structures and equipment, repairing or replacing concrete floors, steps and sidewalks, replacing damaged paneling and floor tiles, replacing damaged or discolored ceiling tiles, hanging doors and installing door locks, replacing broken window panes, fastening equipment or structures to concrete flooring, and performing general maintenance on equipment and machinery
General facility maintenance skills necessary for the role include:
• ·Attention to detail
• ·Basic Microsoft Office skills
• ·Knowledge of Hazardous Material Management
• Lock Out / Tag Out training
• Fall protection training
• Must be a US Citizen
• An Active Secret Clearance is required
HS Diploma/GED required.
Prefer 2-3 years of maintenance or carpentry experience.
