The Pharmacy Intern will assist the pharmacist with tasks and complete projects that develop professional skills necessary to be a competent pharmacist. All duties performed shall be under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist as required by state law.

Principal Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist with the compounding and dispensing of medications including evaluation, review of patient outcome, labeling, and drug information.
• Develop and provide written communications at an appropriate reading level for patients about medication therapy.
• Assist in the development and patient education of overall clinical pharmacy programs.
• Assist in other department programs or activities as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager.
• Demonstrates timeliness, courtesy, sincerity, and patience when dealing with patients/clients.

Hours: M-F 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
